About MenuTrim

MenuTrim is a free, open-source context menu editor for Windows 11 and Windows 10. It started from a simple frustration: the right-click menu slowly fills with entries from programs you uninstalled years ago, and Windows gives you no built-in way to clean it up.

What MenuTrim does

  • Lists every entry in your right-click menu in one searchable view.
  • Removes or disables entries you don't want — with an automatic backup first.
  • Adds custom entries for your own programs, folders, and commands.
  • Restores the classic Windows 10 context menu on Windows 11 with one toggle.

What it doesn't do

  • No ads, no bundled software, no telemetry, and no account required.
  • It never collects or transmits your data — it only writes registry keys that Windows itself uses.
